Egg Publishing first approached me for interior layout design, and later entrusted me with the cover as well. The project was a new aquarium guide that needed to distinguish itself in a competitive market. The client had a clear, modern vision and was looking for a creative partner who could translate that into innovative layouts—balancing theory-based content with practical exercises in a way that felt both engaging and intuitive. This project required a cohesive design system that could confidently hold multiple content types and formats while remaining visually striking and easy to digest. It was a rewarding challenge and an enjoyable creative collaboration. The illustrations were created by Cahyani G. Mulwinda.

It was not a simple project. The book combines theory, illustrated instructional content, a field guide, and a bibliography, endnotes, and resources section. Wendy handled each element with skill and adaptability, ensuring the final design felt cohesive. (She also did a brilliant job integrating the illustrations throughout.)
