Hi, I’m Wendy!
The human behind ‘White Stone Pages’.
Based in the UK, I'm a book designer and typesetter with a Master's degree in Publishing and over 5 years of industry experience. I specialise in editorial and marketing design. I have a huge love for dark roasted coffee, thought-provoking books, and beautiful stationery. When I’m not reading or designing books, you can catch me cosy-gaming, journaling, and obsessing over self-development!
Here's my story...
I’ve always been a reader, when my parents immigrated to the UK, books were my English teachers and friends growing up. Saturdays were my favourite as it meant a trip to the library and a chance to take home a fresh batch of adventures.
Though I loved every subject at school, I was an English student through and through. I graduated from the University of Warwick with a 2.1 in BA Philosophy & Literature and applied for an MA in Publishing at City University London.
The pandemic hit at the end of my first year at City, the world shut down and switched to online. During that time, I was interning with a marketing agency on a freelance basis, I enjoyed what I was doing so much that I decided to continue down the path I was on and see where it would take me.
Along the way, I learned a lot about freelancing, book marketing, and graphic design. I graduated my Publishing MA with distinction and, in April 2023, I decided to take the leap and craft my freelance career in the direction which brings me joy and fulfilment.

2019
‘White Stone Pages’ was born from a desire to help others actualise their dreams and visions through design that inspires.
I started in the world of design exploring different avenues. From book design and marketing assets, to email marketing support and small business branding.
Whilst I was still figuring out who I was as a freelance designer, and battling imposter syndrome daily, I spent a lot of time working in coffee shops and upskilling in book design.

2023

Having built up 6 years of industry experience, a portfolio I'm proud of, and a great pool of clients, I decided to take the plunge and specialise in book design.
In January 2026, I left the world of book marketing behind, but took all the knowledge and experience I accumulated with me. My goal was to dedicate my energy on growing White Stone Pages.
Since then, I have been working with independent authors, small presses, and self-publishing agencies on book cover, interior design, and eBook formatting.
I can't wait to see what the future holds!
